from:So you have decided that you do not need your used fishing boat anymore, maybe you are giving fishing up, or you are upgrading your boat. You want to sell your used fishing boat and there are a lot of anglers out there that would snap up a bargain. The best thing to do is advertise your used fishing boat in the for sale section of your local paper. A number of people around the world use the Internet to buy and sell their goods and you have the ability to advertise on topic boards for fishermen, and many other wanted and for sale boards. There are also local store boards that you could try advertising your used fishing boat but these will only give you local coverage. Maybe you want to buy a used fishing boat, well if that is the case you can still enlist the help of your local paper as they may have some real bargains on used fishing boats. If not, you will have to look in the local free papers and the angling magazines. Or you could try contacting some of the boat retailers as sometimes they may have a second hand used fishing boat for sale. Ask at your local fishing club, you never know one of the members may be able to help, because they want to sell a used fishing boat or they know someone that does. If anyone local can help then they are the right people to ask.
The use of your local paper should not be over looked if you are looking to buy or sell a used fishing boat as they may have an advert that will fit your requirements or help you to place your ad so that you get the best advertising possible.
Then of course you could try the Boat owners magazines where they will probably have both a wanted column and a for sale section.
